{"id":518,"date":"2015-09-01T10:54:02","date_gmt":"2015-09-01T08:54:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fondationthalie.org\/fr\/?p=518"},"modified":"2021-02-04T16:26:49","modified_gmt":"2021-02-04T15:26:49","slug":"out-of-the-box","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.fondationthalie.org\/en\/off-site\/education\/out-of-the-box\/","title":{"rendered":"<i>Out of the Box<\/i>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Fondation Thalie supported the program<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ofthebox.be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong> Out of the Box<\/strong><\/a> for the first session 2015-2016 and the session 2016-2017.<\/p>\n<p><strong>An out-of-the-ordinary creative education<br \/>\n<\/strong>Almost 35% of young Belgians ages of 15 and 20 drop out of a traditional school education, refuse to attend school, and deliberately put themselves on the fringes of any kind of learning.<\/p>\n<p>Informing rather than instructing, introducing imagination and wit into information and training, inspiring new ideas, combining art with apprenticeship, mixing pleasure and perseverance etc.<\/p>\n<p>A social and cultural mix is crucial in this experimental method, with its sights set on a multi-disciplinary model, a place of transition and mediation.
