Agregation holder of philosophy (1970), he is professor emeritus of Aix-Marseille University and member of the Universitary Institut of France.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, he published : at\u00a0P.U.F.,\u00a0<i>La politique de Stendhal\u00a0<\/i>; at Actes-Sud,\u00a0<i>Qu\u2019est-ce qu\u2019une \u0153uvre\u00a0?<\/i>,\u00a0<i>P<\/i><i>hilosophie du geste\u00a0<\/i>(1995 and\u00a02011) ; at La Part de l\u2019\u0152il, <i>Origine de la peinture <\/i>(2013). He directed some collective books projects at Presses Universitaires de Provence, including\u00a0<i>Le Geste entre \u00e9mergence et apparence<\/i>\u00a0(2014). He is also member of the review panel of the brussels journal \u00ab\u00a0La Part de l\u2019\u0152il\u00a0\u00bb.
