The result is a profusion of intellectual and artistic creation, as rich in cultural wealth as the Anthropocene is rich in destruction of all kinds. Is damaging the planet a paradox?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Paul Ardenne<\/strong> has a degree in History and a doctorate in Arts and Art Sciences. He is a contributor to the journals Art press, Archistorm and INTER-Art actuel, and is the author of several books: Art, l\u2019\u00e2ge contemporain (1997), L\u2019Art dans son moment politique (2000), L\u2019Image Corps (2001), Un Art contextuel (2002), Art, le pr\u00e9sent (2009), Un Art \u00e9cologique. Cr\u00e9ation plasticienne et anthropoc\u00e8ne (2018), L\u2019Art en joie. Aesthetics of joyful humanity (2023). He is also a novelist and specialist in architecture (Terre Habit\u00e9e, 2005; La Bonne ville, 2019; Le Boost et le frein \u2013 Comment l\u2019humain b\u00e2tit au 21e si\u00e8cle?, 2021\u2026).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>As a curator of contemporary art, Paul Ardenne has designed numerous exhibitions, the most recent of which are \u201cDendromorphies. Creating with trees\u201d (Paris, 2016), \u201cCourants verts. Creating for the environment\u201d (Paris, 2019) and \u201cL\u2019anthropoc\u00e8ne et apr\u00e8s\u201d (Saint-Denis de la R\u00e9union, 2020). He has produced several programmes on France Culture devoted to art in the age of the Anthropocene (\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiofrance.fr\/franceculture\/podcasts\/serie-l-art-est-l-environnement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">L\u2019art est l\u2019environnement<\/a>\u201c, January 2023) and is a regular contributor to the series of programmes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/en\/videos\/RC-023176\/the-world-in-images\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The World in Images<\/a>, on the ARTE television channel.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Program<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. <em>Words that say it all.
