Today, yesterday&#8217;s constructions have to become the foundation of artistic creations to <strong>create new narratives<\/strong>, new forms and production processes. He explores the perspective of societies on their history, notably the privatisation and repression, the violence and loss, and the way they affect the evolution of individuals and the nations, both connected to the collective memory. His research has brought him to the\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">idea of reparation<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, a concept he philosophically developed in his writings and symbolically through his art. The principle of reparation being a constant in nature &#8211; is within humanity, that\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">all living systems, social or cultural, can be considered as an infinite process of\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">reparation, closely related to loss and wounds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">His work has been shown in many international exhibits, notably, at the\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kunsthaus.ch\/en\/besuch-planen\/ausstellungen\/kader-attia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Kunsthaus Z\u00fcrich<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, the\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/bampfa.org\/program\/kader-attia-matrix-274\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, Hayward Gallery in London, MacVal in Vitry-sur-Seine, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, the S.M.A.K in Ghent, and the Whitechapel Gallery in London. She graduated from the National School of Fine Arts of Paris and in 2015 was a resident artist at the\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.villamedici.it\/en\/residencies\/eva-jospin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Villa Medicis<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0in Rome. She has had her work shown in, not only, the Manufacture des Gobelins, the Palais de Tokyo, the Cour Carr\u00e9e of the Louvre, and the Hayward Gallery in London. Her installations live in public spaces where they can be seen from the Beaupassage in Paris, Nantes, and the Domaine de Chaumont in the Loire. In 2021 and 2022, Eva Jospin created new works for the public space (Mus\u00e9e des Impressionismes, Giverny, Fondazione Maramotti, Milan) and participated in many exhibits, notably at the foundation Arter in Istanbul and the\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chassenature.org\/en\/expositions\/galleria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mus\u00e9e de la Chasse in Paris<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Her work is currently in the National School of Fine Arts in Paris and the Domaine de la Garenne Lemot in G\u00e9tign\u00e9. In 2014, he co-curated the exhibit <\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mati\u00e8re Grise\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">at the Pavillon de l&#8217;Arsenal, which explored the re-use of materials as a new paradigm of construction during the worldwide crises of natural resources. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Joined in 2016 by the partners S\u00e9bastien Eymard and Sonia Vu,\u00a0 Encore Heureux curated the French Pavillion, in 2018, for the 16th International Architecture Biennale in Venice with the exhibit \u00ab Lieux Infinis, an inventory of places that invite the unanticipated and the common desire.
