Hosted in the Auditorium of the Louvre Museum, the event will bring together a dozen speakers \u2014 artists and committed thinkers \u2014, to <strong>highlight the voices and rights of women<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Odonchimeg Davaadorj<\/strong> was born in 1990 and left Mongolia at the age of 17 for the Czech Republic, before moving to Paris in 2009, where she began studying art. A graduate of the Ecole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure d&#8217;Art Paris-Cergy (ENSAPC), she has presented her work in group exhibitions (Salon de Montrouge, 63rd edition, 2018; Galerie Premier Regard, Paris, 2018 &#8220;Matters of Concern&#8221;, Herm\u00e8s La Verri\u00e8re, Brussels, 2019; &#8220;Even the rocks reach out to kiss you&#8221;, Transpalette, Bourges, 2021; &#8220;Animal Kingdom&#8221;, \u00c2me Nue, Hambourg, 2021, &#8220;Danse et Rituel&#8221;, Centre National de la Danse, Pantin, 2021) and has had solo shows, notably at the Backslash gallery (2019 and 2021). She is represented by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.backslashgallery.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Backslash Gallery<\/a> (Paris) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reriddle.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Re.Riddle Gallery<\/a> (San Francisco).<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\"><strong>Ghada Hatem-Gantzer<\/strong> is an obstetrician-gynecologist.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Born in Lebanon she moved to Paris to study medicine in 1977.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">She joined the Hopital Delafontaine Hospital in 2010 where she established an IVF center, a female genital mutilation (FGM) treatment unit, and a breast cancer care unit in partnership with Institut Curie.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Knowing the significant health impacts of gender-based violence (GBV), and convinced that gynecologists and midwives are best placed to provide care, Dr Hatem-Gantzer founded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lamaisondesfemmes.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Maison des Femmes<\/a> in Saint-Denis in July 2016, the first health care facility dedicated to holistic care and management for survivors of GBV.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The Maison des Femmes awarded the Peace Prize by the Brussels University Hospital in 2017, and lauded with the European Citizen Prize in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Practical information<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nMonday, May 30th 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm<br \/>\nAuditorium of the Louvre Museum, Paris<br \/>\nAccess full program of the symposium <em><a href=\"https:\/\/thanksfornothing.fr\/en\/homepage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the 5th edition of the Art &amp; Engagement Symposium, the association Thanks for Nothing is partnering with the Foundation for a conversation with visual artist Odonchimeg Davaadorj and Ghada Hatem, gynaecologist and Founder of the Maison des femmes in Saint-Denis.
