In it,<strong> St\u00e9phanie Solinas recounts her trip to Iceland, an island of invisible realities that the photographer will track down<\/strong> in an attempt to understand and bring to light. Published by <strong>Seuil<\/strong>, this guide <strong>proposes 13 &#8220;cerebral hikes&#8221;<\/strong> to meet the world of the dead, the afterlife, the existence of higher spirits&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The second is the<strong> first enlarged and illustrated reprint of<em> Mont Analogue<\/em><\/strong>, <strong>Ren\u00e9 Daumal&#8217;s cult novel<\/strong> in which a masked mountain serves as a passageway between our world and the sky, between our lives and everything beyond us. Published under the direction of Boris Bergmann, by Gallimard, and with the support of Fondation Thalie and Fondation Luma, <strong>Ren\u00e9 Daumal&#8217;s Monts Analogues tells the story of the multiple posterity of a unique book<\/strong>. <strong>Patti Smith wrote the preface to this edition<\/strong>, which includes previously unpublished works by Daumal, interviews \u2014 \u00a0with Chilean filmmaker <strong>Alejandro Jodorowsky<\/strong> \u2014 essays, and the works of artists \u2014 of all ages, from all countries, and from all arts \u2014 who were inspired by Daumal&#8217;s text.<\/p>\n<p>Together, <strong>St\u00e9phanie Solinas and Boris Bergmann will read excerpts<\/strong> and blend one of the &#8220;cerebral walks&#8221; of the<em> Guide du Pourquoi Pas ?<\/em> with Daumal&#8217;s words and analogous visions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Together, they will recount the genesis of these two books<\/strong>. For they were both born of a long, intense investigation, experienced as an intimate quest in search of an ever multiple truth and an ever infinite Mont Analogue.<\/p>\n<p>This cross-presentation will be followed by <strong>a reading of Daumal by Boris Bergmann<\/strong>, <strong>set to music by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondationthalie.org\/en\/residencies\/joseph-schiano-di-lombo-visual-arts-creative-writings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joseph Schiano di Lombo,<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondationthalie.org\/fr\/residences\/joseph-schiano-di-lombo-arts-visuels-et-ecritures-creatives\"> <strong>artist-in-residence at the Foundation<\/strong><\/a>.
