Following the 10th anniversary exhibition Regenerative Futures, which brings together around forty creators and designers to reflect on the theme of the living world and ecological narratives, she will launch ALEOR Craft &amp; Biodesign, a gallery dedicated to design focusing on living matter and the promotion of know-hows.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<h2>The Foundation will continue its commitment through a nomadic format with production grants, an art collection and publications.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr style=\"border: none; border-top: solid 2px black;\" \/>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><strong>Dear friends,<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>This autumn period marks the start of a new cycle: the exhibition <em><strong>Regenerative Futures<\/strong><\/em> in Brussels celebrates a decade of philanthropic action and support for creativity within the Foundation that I created. This show, meaningful in various ways, has been devoted\u2014through ecological narratives and bio- inspired design\u2014to subjects that I have been concerned with in recent years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>In 2025, I will launch <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.fondationthalie.org\/fr\/aleor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ALEOR Craft &amp; Biodesign<\/a><\/strong>, a gallery dedicated to design focused on the living world and savoir-faire, offering limited series of objects designed using natural or reused resources.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>The <strong>Foundation<\/strong> <strong>will continue its philanthropic commitment with off-site actions<\/strong>, while closing its space in Brussels and our artist residencies will continue through the end of the year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Since 2014, the Foundation has established itself as an institution committed to diverse artistic creation, inviting established artists as well as the emerging scene to address societal issues.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Since 2018, hosted in a 1920s-era architectural house in Brussels, we have organized collective and monographic exhibitions including such artists as <strong>Gyan<\/strong> <strong>Panchal<\/strong>, <strong>Karine Rougier<\/strong>, <strong>Agne\u0300s Thurnauer<\/strong>, <strong>Caroline Achaintre<\/strong>, <strong>Nicolas Floc\u2019h<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kiki Smith<\/strong>, and <strong>Eva Jospin<\/strong>; in our space in Arles, we presented the work of <strong>Jeanne Vicerial <\/strong>and<strong> Sara Ouhaddou<\/strong>. We also provided research residencies for artists and authors, while showcasing the collection and programming cultural and educational activities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>The Foundation champions a dialogue between visual arts and savoir-faire, promoting creation committed to ecological awareness. Thanks to the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/createursurgenceclimat.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cre\u0301ateurs Urgence Climat<\/a>\u201d programme (which includes conferences and podcasts with more than 310,000 listeners), we have facilitated interdisciplinary exchanges between artists, designers and scientists while <strong>contributing to the collective writing of new stories in a post-carbon era<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Through the <strong>Ecodesign and Creation Chair<\/strong>\u2014 that I encouraged with <strong>Decathlon<\/strong> launched in partnership with the <strong>E\u0301cole des Arts De\u0301coratifs de Paris<\/strong> and spearheaded by academic director <strong>Emmanuel Tibloux<\/strong>\u2014I was introduced to a new generation of designers that are visionary and abundantly creative. These young talents are sensitive to the adaptation challenges inflicted by climate change, embodying a regenerative vision of design which I am proud to support.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>With a new team, <strong>ALEOR Craft &amp; Biodesign<\/strong> will extend this approach, exploring innovative materials such as algae, mycelium and insect leather to propose new modes of eco-design allying habitat and solution oriented design.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Brussels team, namely <strong>Julien Amicel<\/strong>,<strong> Jenna Barberot<\/strong>, and <strong>He\u0301loi\u0308se Robinot<\/strong> for their unwavering commitment, to the collaborators who participated in the project, to the exhibition curators who helped me build the programme: <strong>Yann Chateigne\u0301 Tytelman<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ludovic Delalande<\/strong>, <strong>Joe\u0308l Riff<\/strong>, <strong>Philippe Terrier-Hermann<\/strong>, <strong>Anissa Touati<\/strong>, <strong>Chiara Vecchiarelli<\/strong>, <strong>Stefano Vendramin<\/strong>.
